What you can actually try for free
Four questions, asked of every casino on this site and answered with what we could read at the source: does a demo exist, does it open without an account, is there an offer that needs no deposit, and is there a tournament you can enter for nothing.

What a free game is, before any of it is counted
A game offered without money is a strange object in this trade, because everything that makes a casino game what it is has been taken out of it and the shape left behind looks identical to the original. The reels turn at the same speed, the paytable says the same things, and the sounds arrive at the same moments.
What has gone is the stake. That absence is at once the value of the thing and the trouble with it, and the two cannot be separated. A player who spends an evening on "credits" worth nothing will learn the rules of a game, the rhythm of its "bonus round" (the free spins, the pick rounds, the multipliers) and the look of its interface. He will learn almost nothing about what that game does to a balance over a thousand spins, which is the lesson that costs money later.
We have built this site around four questions instead of a verdict, because each of the four has an answer a reader can check for himself while a verdict has to be taken on trust. Does a "demo" of the game exist at all, does it open without an account, is there an offer that asks for no deposit, and is there a tournament that can be entered for nothing.
- Yes — read at the source and working as described
- Partly — it exists, with a condition that matters
- No — it does not exist, or the rules forbid it
- Not verified — we could not establish it, and we say so
The objection, which belongs before the method and not after it
The obvious objection to a site like this one is that it exists to sell the thing it claims to assess. It is fair enough to deserve an answer at the top (here, in the second section) rather than a paragraph at the bottom.
Our links are commercial, they carry the word "sponsored" and the rest of the attributes a search engine reads (rel, target, the lot) wherever they appear, and the four boxes above each casino are the part of the page that the commercial relationship does not touch. The reason that separation can be tested, rather than merely promised, lies in the nature of the four answers.
Whether a lobby opens a game in "demo mode" to somebody who has not logged in is a fact about a web page (a request, a response, and a button that is either there or it is not); anybody with a browser can settle it in less time than it takes to read our opinion of the casino behind it.
What the commercial relationship does change is which casinos came under examination at all, and we say so on the page about our method ("how we verify", linked from every page). The limitation is real and its consequence is visible: this is not a list of the hundred best casinos in the world, but a list of the hundred and four whose free play we were able to examine from the outside.
Where the demo actually lives, which is not where a reader looks for it
The most useful thing this record turned up is that the "demo" belongs to the platform running the lobby and not to the brand painted on the door. The consequence for a reader is immediate.
Two casinos with different names, different colours and different "welcome offers", sitting on the same engine, behave identically at the moment somebody clicks on a game, so that a hundred questions about a hundred brands collapse into twelve questions about twelve platforms (104 brands, twelve platforms, one page each below).
On one platform the game opens with a button marked "Demo Now", and the operator's own help page states that an account is not required at all (Miami Club, read on 20 October 2026). On a second, the lobby feed carries a "flag" for every title: on one of its brands forty-three games were open to a trial and sixty-five were closed to it (43 against 65, counted on a single page), so that no honest page can promise the "free play" version of a particular slot without reading that flag first.
On a third platform the main call to action is a download, and the download path leads to a registration form before any game opens. None of those three behaviours has much to do with how good the casinos are, how quickly they pay, or how large their catalogues happen to be (several of them count their titles in the thousands).
Each of them is a decision taken by a platform supplier (SpinLogic, SkillOnNet, Games Global and the rest), inherited by every brand that licenses the platform, and visible to anyone who looks at the lobby instead of the logo.

The law, which decides more of this than the operators do
A reader in Germany cannot open a demo without a gaming account, because the treaty that governs online gambling there states that a licensee may not make the free version available to anybody for whom no "Spielkonto" has been opened (§ 6j of the 2021 treaty, in force since 2023).
A reader in Spain cannot open one either, for a different reason written in a different instrument. The royal decree on commercial communications permits "aplicaciones de juego gratuito" only on the operator's own platform, and only after the person has registered (article 14 of royal decree 958/2020, in force since May 2021).
Sweden took a third route, and we find it the most interesting of the four: instead of shutting the demo inside an account it requires the free version to produce the same random outcome as the game played with stakes (chapter 14, section 5 of the Swedish gambling act, as amended in 2025).
Great Britain took a fourth, and that one shapes this site. There the age of a customer must be verified before any "free-to-play" version of a gambling game opens; "self-declaration" of a date of birth does not satisfy the requirement; and the licensee answers for the affiliates with which it contracts (provision 1.1.2 of the same code, on responsibility for third parties).
We read that last rule as a design constraint rather than as a footnote, and its consequence is visible on every page here. This site hosts no playable games.
It describes where a demo exists, on whose platform and under which condition, and it sends a reader who wants to open one to the operator that is licensed to decide whether he may. Four jurisdictions, four different answers to a single question, and not one of the four is optional!

What we could not establish, which is a quarter of the work
Nine lobbies refused every request we put to them, a tenth answered with a page explaining that the site is not available in this region, and several platforms serve their games through code that cannot be read without running it (one supplier's own technical documentation declined to open at all).
In each of those cases the box reads "not verified", and the phrase means what it says instead of standing in for a polite no. That fourth state is not a failure of the record; it is the record working as intended.
A table with every cell filled is a table that has guessed at some of them. On a subject where a wrong answer sends a reader to open an account he did not need, a "guess" does more harm than a gap. The one thing a page like this must never do is fill a cell because the gap looks untidy!
Three sorts of row therefore sit side by side here, and the difference between them is the whole of our method: what we read at the source, what we took from a supplier's own documentation, and what we could not reach at all. You can tell which is which from the tag on the row, and your own reading of any casino here should start from that tag (the "level" column) rather than from your position in the order of the list.
Does this site let me play the games here?
No. We describe where a demo exists and on what condition, and we send you to the operator that runs it; we host no games of our own, because in Great Britain a licensee has to apply its own age checks to the free-to-play games reached through its affiliates.
Why is a casino with a weak licence above one with a strong licence?
Because the order follows the four boxes and nothing else. A brand whose lobby opens a demo to anyone sits above a better-regulated brand that has none, and the licence column is there so that the two facts stay separate.
Is the demo the same game as the one played for money?
Not everywhere by law, and not always in fact. Germany and Sweden require the free version to match the real one on the odds and the return; elsewhere nobody requires it, and Betway writes that demo play may limit some features.
What does «not verified» mean in the fourth box?
That we looked and could not establish it. Nine lobbies refused our requests outright and several platforms serve their games through code we cannot read without running it, and we would rather say so than publish a guess.
