Great Britain · Gambling Commission
For readers in Great Britain
This page is written for anyone reading from Great Britain. It carries only the brands that hold a licence from the Gambling Commission, and it explains the rule that decides how the rest of this site is built.
Why this page exists, and why it is the one you are reading
Great Britain is the only market in this record whose rules reach the pages of this site directly, and the consequence is the page you are reading: a page written for readers here, in place of the international one we serve everywhere else. The reason sits in a single provision of the code of practice that the Gambling Commission attaches to every remote licence.
That provision requires a licensee to verify a customer's age before the customer can access any "free-to-play" version of a gambling game that the licensee makes available (social responsibility code provision 3.2.11, in force since 7 May 2019; a twin provision, 3.2.13, does the same for "instant win" lottery products). The regulator has been explicit about the method: a "self-declaration" of a date of birth, typed into a form by the customer, does not satisfy the requirement (the words are the Commission's own, in its article of 1 July 2019).
A second provision carries the first one outward, and it is the one that concerns us. A licensee is responsible for the actions of the third parties with which it contracts, and in July 2019 the Commission wrote to operators to say that the free-to-play rules must therefore be applied to the affiliates they work with, so that children cannot reach those "free-to-play" games through an affiliate's site.
We have read the two provisions together, as the regulator asks them to be read, and for a site like this one the answer is not ambiguous in the least. An affiliate that hosted playable demos for a British audience, without verified age checks, would put the licensees it works with in breach of their own conditions (and the breach would be theirs, not ours, which is precisely why they care).
What follows from that, on every page of this site
This site hosts no playable games anywhere, for any reader. It records where a demo exists, on whose platform and on what condition, and it sends a reader who wants to open one to the operator that holds the licence to decide whether he may. The rule has two exclusions worth knowing: screenshots and videos of a game are not caught, because nobody can interact with them, and neither are the demos that a supplier offers to other businesses rather than to consumers.
The operators on this page, and the one thing they have in common
Every brand below holds a licence from the Gambling Commission. The entry in the public register is the single fact that puts it here, and the register is where you can check it (the "public register" of businesses, searchable by domain). Nothing else qualified a brand for this page: not its catalogue, not the size of its "welcome offer", and not the length of the commercial relationship behind the link we carry.
Most of them belong to a single licensee. That is worth saying plainly, rather than leaving a reader to work it out from eleven similar-looking cards (the "white label" arrangement, as the register itself labels several of the domains).
Eleven of the brands run on the same platform under a single licence account (number 39175, held by one company and covering remote casino and remote bingo), so that a reader who has understood how one of them behaves has understood all eleven; what separates them is the catalogue, the bingo rooms and the colour of the buttons.
The four boxes on each card read as they do everywhere else on this site, with one change. The change is in the third box. Where a brand has an offer that asks for no deposit, the box says to read the terms on the operator's own page rather than repeating a figure here, because since 19 January 2026 a bonus offered to a British customer must carry a "wagering" requirement no higher than ten times (social responsibility provision 5.1.1), and the significant conditions must sit one click away on the operator's own site.

The whole register, not only the part that pays us
Gambling Commission publishes the list of every registered site, and it is the list worth reading: it contains the operators this page does not carry, and the reader can check it without us. We publish the address rather than a copy, because a copy of a register is out of date the day the register changes. The public register carries the account number, the licensed activities and the domains of every licensee, and it is searchable by domain.
What a British reader can check without us
The register is the habit worth acquiring, and it costs you about a minute. The Commission publishes every licensee with its account number, the activities the licence covers and the domains it is allowed to use, and the search works from a domain name (the one in your address bar) as well as from a company name.
Two details in that register repay the minute (the "scope" of the licence and the status of the domain). The first is the scope: a licence covers named activities, and a company licensed for "remote casino" is not thereby licensed for "remote bingo", a distinction that matters on a page where three of the brands are bingo rooms and the others are not.
The second is the status of a domain, which the register marks as "active" or otherwise; that status tells a reader whether the site in front of him is the one the licence actually names, which is not a question anybody thinks to ask until the answer matters.
A licence number that a register does not publish is a number we do not write, and we would rather look thin than look certain about a "number" nobody can check (the registers that list only domains and companies are the Alderney and Kahnawake ones). Where an authority lists domains and companies but no numbers, our card carries the authority and the holding company, and it stops there. That is less satisfying to read and a great deal more defensible to rely on!
The age, the self-exclusion and the help, which are not an afterthought
The minimum age is eighteen, and under the provision quoted above it applies to the free version of a game exactly as it applies to the real one. A British reader who opens an account will be asked to prove that age before anything opens at all, including anything "free". An operator that skips the step is not doing you a favour (it is borrowing against its own licence, and the loan is called in by the regulator rather than by you).
GAMSTOP is the national self-exclusion scheme, and it is the one worth knowing: a single registration blocks access to every operator licensed for the British market, which is the property that makes it worth more than an exclusion taken one casino at a time (one registration, every licensee, no exceptions). The National Gambling Helpline is on 0808 8020 133, and it is free, confidential and open at any hour of any day.
One sentence about what a demo cannot do, because it belongs on this page more than on any other. A free session teaches the rules of a game and the shape of its interface. It cannot teach a player anything at all about what losing feels like (the one lesson that the "demo" is structurally unable to deliver), and the gap between those two lessons is where most of the trouble in this business lives.
